These beautiful Sunny Seal Hearts are hand-made by Moon Seals, a lovely company who specialise in jewellery and gifts made from beachcombing treasures!
"We are Clare & Char a mum and daughter combo who are happiest under big skies, beside the sea, seaglass collecting and seal spotting - hence our MoonSeals name!
We have both had creative jobs in the past but necessity takes over (as it tends to!) and now our day jobs are decidedly unarty and left us craving a creative outlet….we also wanted to repurpose and reuse our beachcombing finds - so MoonSeals was born!
We make beautiful coastal inspired gifts re-using seaglass and other beach finds to create new treasures. We love nothing more than making and collaborating on our Sealy art and seaglass jewellery!
It's so important to us to give back and support our Sealy charities, so it was so special when Sue asked us to supply the lovely Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust with our Sealy hearts.
It has been such an amazing journey so far and we are so thrilled and humbled by all the support and encouragement we have received!"
Each heart is made using small pebbles and sea glass found on beaches, but it is the beautiful painting that gives each seal its individual personality. Because every heart is individually hand-made we have numbered them so that you can pick the specific design you like.
All profits made from the sale of these items are used to fund our charity's mission to promote and protect our precious, native wild seals.
With your first two orders we will send you a leaflet pack, which includes 15 Fascinating Facts About Grey Seals, Eco-Tips, and Watching Seals Well. Any orders after that, we will only send them if you request them. This is to save paper, postage and waste.
