These Recreate Treesaver™ Recycled environmentally friendly wood-free pencils are made from 90% recycled plastic cups. This creates a very tough, hardwearing pencil that is splinterproof and chew resistant, making them safer for children to use. Due to the tough casing, the lead in the pencil is well protected, preventing breaks when the pencils are dropped, stood on, etc.
